The Michigan Association of Timbermen is a non-profit 501(c)6 trade association, representing the forest products industry of Michigan. Founded in 1972, MAT has provided effective representation of Michigan’s forestry community, including those who grow, harvest and process forest products.
Members of the Michigan Association of Timbermen are dedicated to the practice of sustainable forestry which provides the goods and services we demand without compromising the opportunity to provide the same goods and services for future generations.
